Sail & Power Boating
With the mild winters in North Carolina, sail and power boaters enjoy an extended season in Fairfield Harbour. With a full enclosure, many boaters enjoy boating year round. During the spring, summer and fall, boaters enjoy cruises to local destinations such as Ocracoke Island, Cape Lookout, Oriental and many pristine creeks and beautiful anchorages.
Fairfield Harbour property owners with registered boats may seek membership in the Fairfield Harbour Yacht Club. Activities include long and short cruises, regattas, dinghy and model boat races, socials, monthly meetings with guest speakers, educational programs and community support programs. Fairfield Harbour offers access to four three marinas on site - Northwest Creek Marina, Birdland, Inner Harbour Marina and Blackbeard Sailing Club.
With no bridges to clear and easy access to big water, Fairfield Harbour is the perfect setting to embark on extended cruises.
